Doctors & Staff

To Our Valued Patients:

Dr. Claffie & Associates/TampaEyePro is committed to the health and safety of our patients, our staff, and our community. Because of the current spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that it has been our commitment for years to sanitize each piece of equipment both immediately before and immediately after each use to prevent the spread of germs from one patient to another. We have always been proud of this commitment.
While cleanliness has always been a top priority of our practice, we are also increasing the frequency in which ‘high touch’ areas will be cleaned and sanitized, such as our reception chairs and tables. You’ll notice that we have also removed magazines from our reception area to decrease the spread of germs.

Additionally, we continue to practice good hygiene by our doctors and staff. We wash our hands frequently with antibacterial soap and/or use a high-percentage alcohol hand sanitizer. We are continuing to do everything we can to keep our practice a clean and safe environment for you and your family.

We would ask that if you’re not feeling well (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc), that you take this time to stay home, rest and recuperate.  This should help mitigate community spread and keep a safer environment for everyone.

We will continue to monitor COVID-19 closely and will follow the guidelines provided by local and national organizations like the CDC and WHO. We assure you that our practice remains a safe place to continue your uninterrupted eye health care.

We feel it essential to keep you updated, and if you have any questions, concerns, need to reschedule or your contact lens orders, please give us a call. For the most up to date information please go to www.cdc.gov . Thank you for being such a valued patient. We are always here for you and your family.
